We conducted moderated research interviews with attorneys at M&A firms to better understand the deal transaction process, roles & responsibilities of individuals involved, day-to-day tasks, pain points, and more. As part of our deliverables, we consolidated thorough and insightful interview notes and summary sheets for each participant.
Persona Development
Through our research interview synthesis, we developed a set of personas for various team members involved in M&A transactions. These personas served as the basis for our journey maps and product concepts.
Transaction Journey Map
Leveraging our deep understanding of the deal transaction process & personas involved, we mapped the end-to-end journey of a lead associate and included granular details about tasks involved, their needs, and pain points at each stage.
Product Ecosystem Mapping
While extensively analyzing existing LexisNexis® products used by M&A attorneys, I discovered a vast ecosystem of features & functionalities spread across products that caused significant information silos and friction in usage.
This ecosystem map was an eye-opener for client stakeholders to unite around the need for a more strategic and cohesive product vision.
