Bottle Club Pub
This project brought to life a bar concept inspired by the "bottle club" era of American Whiskey, spanning the 1950s to the 1970s.
In the aftermath of WWII, American distilleries faced a whiskey surplus and turned to collectible decanters to spark renewed consumer interest. By the 1950s, these specialty decanter bottles had ignited a nationwide craze of collecting and trading. As a result, the first "bottle club" emerged in Berkeley in 1952, with others soon following, celebrating the artistry and culture of whiskey until the 1980s.
Collaborating closely with the visionary team behind the bar, I developed a brand and menu art direction that pays homage to this rich history. The result is a cohesive visual identity that complements the bar's nostalgic ambiance and elevates the guest experience.

Branding
The client envisioned a logo that symbolizes San Francisco's resilience and rebirth after the COVID-19 pandemic, which is when Bottle Club Pub was opened. To achieve this, we drew inspiration from San Francisco's official flag, which features a powerful symbol of resurrection—the phoenix rising.
Menu Design
Includes both a Cocktail & Food menu, as well as an extensive Spirits Menu.
